I BELIEVE IN A WORLD…

In a world that seems to be filled with negativity and fear, I see something a little different. This is my personal manifesto.

I BELIEVE I am here to create magic, to follow my curiosity, and to feel alive & energized. We currently live in a world that no longer believes in magic and happy endings. We live in a world that is more cynical than celestial. We are part of a society that believes in the idea of enslavement over enchantment. What is so fascinating to me is that all of our power lies on an individual level; a power that stems from the connection we have with ourselves, and the connection we have with a higher power. Before we can make a collective shift, we have to make an individual disruption. We have to replace fear with curiosity, and we have to destroy the victim mentality with the sword of self-empowerment. We must eliminate the outsourcing of blame and hurt, and strive to replace it with accountability, responsibility and sovereignty. We cannot successfully fight for our world, for our community, for our families, until we make the commitment to fight for ourselves by reconnecting to who we really are.

I really do believe that there is a brighter future ahead of us. I believe that optimism and forward momentum are more powerful than all the armies of negativity combined. I believe that a small group of human beings who truly care and believe in a better world are more potent and impactful than an entire nation that remains asleep as a cog in the machine. I fight for freedom. The freedom to think a better future into existence. I fight for my ability to create my destiny and dictate my fate. I fight for honorable values; trust, loyalty, bravery, honesty, and authenticity. I fight for human interaction; natural over artificial. I fight to honor nature with whom we are divinely interwoven and connected. I fight for happy endings, for laughter and for steadfastness in the face of failure. I fight for progression and the chance to learn, improve and better ourselves.

I believe that BELIEFS are powerful. Believes dictate your destiny and create your reality. Your beliefs will form the lens and perspective through which you will see the world. I believe in a world that smiles at one another as we cross the street. I believe in a future that is constantly expanding into new possibility and constantly breaking barriers. I fight for the human family unit as the cornerstone of our civilization. I fight for conscious parenting where we raise children without emotional trauma, abuse and neglect. A future where we understand that we are merely the stewards of our children, not their slave masters that dictate who they grow up to be. I fight for innovation and creation. A world where we value the process much more than the results.

I believe in a world where we understand & listen to those that we deem as physically incapable, economically inferior, or mentally unstable. A world where we nourish and create a safe space for all. A world where no one is labeled as crazy, but recognized as one who needs more love, affection, connection and purpose. And the result of those beliefs is a world where there is no inferiority. A world where we recognize that there is more than enough to go around and that we live in a universe of abundance. I fight for prosperity and health, for I believe that these are divine human rights. I fight for collaboration over war, connection over addiction, uniqueness over sameness, and adventure and discovery over stagnation and predictability. I believe that the best is yet to come. I believe that God believes in us, and that He is rooting and pushing for us to believe in ourselves and especially in each other. I believe that the universe is working in our favor, and that powerful opportunities and gifts are constantly showering upon us if we but choose to look for them and actively align with them. Good will always conquer evil, and darkness is not the opposite of light, but the absence of it.

As individuals, I believe that we need to shine our light. To express what makes us, well, us. There is a reason why the Greeks so emphatically stated, “Know Thyself”. We need to first stand up as aware individuals knowing who we are, and then second as a group of empathic individuals that ripples into families, communities and nations. I believe in a world that understands that when you hurt others, you hurt yourself. And when you heal yourself, you heal others. What the world needs is not for people to blend in and stay quiet. We need people to stand up and stand out. To develop self-awareness and understand your unique gifts and talents that were given to you to so you may bless the world. I fight for human beings who have the courage to go against the grain with respect, and who are brave and audacious enough to see past the illusion of limits and understand that nothing is impossible. I believe that fear is meant to be embraced, not evaded. And I believe in one critical truth that will shift our world overnight — the understanding that it all starts with “you”, but is only victorious with “we”. There is so much more ahead of us. I can feel it. We are capable of so much more, and life is meant to be so much more joyful, fulfilling and brimming with bliss. Life is about alignment. Life is meant to flow. And it will. I believe that.

So in conclusion, I guess it is all very simple. I believe in happy moments that aren’t just moments or memories. I believe in a life that keeps on giving, because giving and receiving are the same. Where uncontrollable laughter, contagious smiles and electric beauty are everywhere you turn. A world where there is so much positivity and abundance, that we soon forget what negativity is. A world where we care so deeply for our neighbor that the mere thought of pain towards another abhors us. A world where we soon forget difficulty and tragedy. And as we consciously let go of the emotional burdens, grudges and demons that weigh us down and we turn fully towards eager possibility without looking back, it suddenly happens. A paradigm shift. A rise in consciousness. A real “new normal”. And the future that I believe in, that I fight for everyday, soon becomes the Now. And we look forward with gleaming eyes of childlike joy because we know that everyday only gets better and better, simply because once upon a time, we believed in a happily ever after.
